Going Digital! Portraits via iPad and ipen

I've been doing a little experimenting with my iPad and pen and working from photos to create some portraits. I've got a little sketch app that has a few different tools that I combined and I really liked the watercolour look. It's soft and loose and gives a really nice feel to these images and there is a bit of room to move. The first is a self portrait. Who better to experiment on than yourself! The middle is a friend, Ezro who is a musician and like all of us at the moment is missing being with other people. The last portrait is my friend Carolyn not long before she passed away from cancer. Her husband sent a photo to me and I painted this portrait from that. I couldn't see her because of Covid-19 but she liked the portrait.
